Default Exhaust sawp!

Ive owned this s2k for a little over two months now, and im finally starting my first mechanical mod! Im sawpping out the stock system for a cat-back HKS system. I also purchased the T-Pipe for it but not sure what to do with the plug once the t pipe is installed....Any ideas?

Im super excited about how this comes out, Ill post pictures of the finished product and possibly a video of it if i can upload it when finished!

Oh yeah, Im doing this at my work! I work nights, answering a phone for a towing company, and its slow as hell on sunday nights! So glad i get paid to do work on my 2k!!!

Install is very straight foward. The bung on your test pipe, assuming there is only one, is for the O2 sensor. You will unscrew the O2 sensor from your stock exhaust and screw it into the test pipe. If there is a second bung on your test pipe you will need to block it off with a bolt. Vibrant sells O2 sensor plugs.

Thanks Prisoner! The cat back is installed, seems to be putting out just a tinge of grey right now, i think it might be running lean from being on the rear stands too long, hopefully it will equal out in about 50 miles or so. Shouldnt the ECU re-adjust itself? Or should i get it tuned now?

If it is a new cat-back, it will be burning off oils from the manufacturing process for around the first 10 miles so you will see light smoke while idling and just after shutting off the engine. You should reset the ECU (just disconnect the battery) and let it learn the new fuel trims.
