Man, the CT intake looks dope ! Do you think it's worth it though ?

IMO, with most intake gains 2-3 hp is not that noticeable. I had the AEM V2 prior to the CT and I hardly notice the gains when I switched systems. That's just my opinion. I went for the CT due to how dope it looks.

And the answer to your question, I think its worth every penny.

I voted for the CT but I prefer my PRM, looks great and sounds amazing. I would choice the CT for looks and the fact that its closed off.

I have the K&N installed on my 06 and I like it. For the money, can be had @ less than $250 shipped, it's a good intake. I personally made 7whp by adding the intake to my setup, no other changes to the car, same dyno, similar conditions (it's Hawaii there's only one type of weather).

That being said I like the Comptech for it's looks much more. A local s2ki member has the CT Engineering and the CF airbox lid is a nice touch, but the plastic tubing for the intake arm is a bit junk looking. Reading some of the old threads on the CT/Comptech it seems that the old version had a problem with the lid rattling. Not sure if it's fixed with the new one.

I got the K&N since it was cheaper and I didn't have to special order it. I like it enough not to want to change it with the CT-E, but if I did it over again I would opt for the CT-E, if that makes any sense. I got an AUT cooling plate from eBay, some EZ motoring flush mount engine bolts and PW:JDM radiator stays, and it looks nice.

IMO i say Comptech looks cleaner under an engine bay and sounds nicer in the throttle

Hrm...how come my CT icebox looks different. My carbon fiber part has this cut out for the hood prop.
