Can you use the JDM F20c Engine Harness on the USDM S2000?
I'm in the process of putting together an AP1 s2000 that has an extremely hacked up USDM harness. The engine is a built turbo set-up and will be running the AEM V2 EMS. I have compared the USDM vs JDM Harness and there are only 3 pins that are different. I am not worried about the VTEC or Air Pump wires (located on plug C) as I will be running the AEM EMS. The only different wire that I can see is on the 3rd plug that attaches to under the dashboard (light blue flat plug). The USDM harness uses a WHT/BLK wire in pin location #9 whereas the JDM harness does not have this wire.
Does anyone know what this wire is for? I have gone through the diagrams and it seems to be connector C303 but I cannot find any further information as far as wiring goes in my Helms manual. Has anybody else used a JDM harness on a USDM chassis?
Thanks!

Just for future reference, you can run the JDM harness on the USDM chassis if you are running the AEM EMS (V1 or V2). The JDM harness does not have the pin-outs for vtec or the air pump system (locations C10, C24, and #9 on c101 (large flat baby blue plug that plugs to the under dash chassis harness)). The only wire that needs to be modified is for the passenger side fuse box. Simply remove the protective covering on the harness and pull the power wire to where the harness branches out. You will need to add roughly 6-8 inches of wire. In my case, I simply cut one from the USDM harness and soldered it onto the JDM harness. The length of the JDM harness from the rubber firewall plug to the connectors is about 3-4" longer than the USDM harness is. Installing the cover panels is no problem with the additional length. If anything, it allows you to install the AEM EMS a bit higher up due to the additional length.
If you've got a stock engine and you are running the EMS V2 use the AP2 calibration file. The AP1 calibration file will not start the engine even if you modify the injector size back to factory.
