building an 06

Default building an 06

so i know i have the infamous drive by wire 06 i was interested in doing work on the block/heads. can anyone humor me with what my limitations are? i know the 06 and newer heads are different than the previous years so what are my options? i know someone out here as done it.

To someone that knows what they're doing its all the same. Send the Head to a good Honda shop and they will do whatever you can afford, mild to wild. Endyne, ERL. ITB's have been done so I dont really see too many limitations other than a good tuning unit. EMS is decent if you live in a warm climate, although the best local tuner we have actually likes the EMS for the S2K lol, strange if u ask me. BTW there are several 06 build threads.

i think it's a few threads down, he used entire throttle cable assembly from a MY05

theres a lot involved to switch from dbw to throttle isnt there?

There's a lot of work in making any power on this car.

Cable conversion isn't hard in the scheme of installing ITBs. If I had any thoughts of doing ITBs I would not hesitate to convert to cable. Make the decision now though to do ITBs or not because you will need a different ECU.

kraft's sc is straight up bolt on i think, get a reflash, install and go
