8K for SC is expensive even with AEM/Kpro ECU

You'll need a 2.7 Stroke kit from Inline + bottom-end + ECU + bolt ons to get to 300 crank.

2.4 will get you to maybe 260-270.

Get the SOS kit + Flashpro and you'll be good
thanks... ill contact inlinepro today and see what parts will benefit me the most right now. But i will defianatly start with I/H/E.

I believe the ASM with the 2.4 L stroker from Toda and dry sump and ITBs and all kinda craziness was quoted as 305 and think at the wheels. The one that ran that fast time at Tsubaka

No it's crank horsepower not wheel. No one has publish a 300whp result that I've seen, the highest is 297 on a dynopak which notoriously reads high. Even the 2.7 is unlikely to hit 300whp because while you gain torque down low you lose breathing up top. Truthfully if you want 300whp the only way you're going to get it is FI.

But what you're asking for isn't HP, if you want a grunt you want TQ. That there are a number of options for but the HP you're probably not going to hit NA. Still a 270 HP NA will be noticeably faster than a 300HP FI on an HPDE.

S2.RR has hit 300whp+.

As far as I know, he has been the only one to do so on these forums.

actually he hasn't yet...but he might be the first one to. The reason he hasn't hit it is because his engine isn't in the car. All numbers are published at the crank because it's on the engine dyno.

Making 300 whp NA would be very expensive and would have to be on race gas...

I just checked that thread for s2.rr and he made 345 at the crank. This was posted a few posts ago but i figure it would be nice to have the actual number. They should be able to get more out of the motor from what s2.rr and larry have said (unless i read it wrong) so 300 whp may be a reality and i think thats on pump gas as well.
