definately agree. Ive had enough of exhausts rusting out on old cars. Which wont be as big a deal unless its your dd, but it hardly makes sense to downgrade from the factory system which is all stainless and problem free.

I'm so tired of the dron from my Tsudo N1 (same as invidia and skunk2). I only wish I could afford a new exhaust right now. Not sure what I wan't. I want something with little to no drone but not something almost as quiet as stock. What's a good sounding dual system with round style mufflers and tips that's a good bit louder than stock but with out the drone? I am thinking Greddy or HKS. Def want something under 1k in price.

I will say from customer feedback that the Q300 adds some rasp with testpipe...S2000 is one the finickiest cars to bolt exhaust on!

If you want stockish sound, buy a ct-e or fujitsubo legalis-r. We have a comptech sport for sale in classifieds right now. One of the best sounding systems!

Finally, my Tanabe Medalion Touring exhaust arrived. I have to say no regrets so far. Fitment was perfect, quality is excellent. The first fire up had a tiny bit of drone but I will wait until the gaskets and exhaust break in before I re check the seals at each joint. The tail pipes do not stick out like some people have noted with their Tanabe Medalion Touring. I think they're perfect. The total exhaust weight is 41 lbs so there's only a slight weight saving of 11 or 12 lbs from the stock cat back. I revved the car through the full rpm range and there was no throttle-lift rasp just smooth even tone.

Been running an HKS dual with invidia 70mm tp for about 4 years now

Sometimes I miss the raspy bark i had with the old comptech on my rsx but i still like this. Been thinking of going with a 70mm berk for track use but track funds are at $0 at the moment.

Q300 Dual, haven't had it long but I love it. The sound changes the whole experience of the car, it feels far more sporty!
