Default Amuse R1000 or T1R 70RT

So I'm debating on an exhaust.. Amuse R1000 or T1R 70RT? I want a single 70mm full titanium and both these are straight to the header meaning no test pipe, which is a plus. These are both awsome exhausts because of the power gain, weight, and looks. The only thing about the amuse is the wait time and the price difference is nearly a grand. If anybody with these exhausts can chime in with their feedback, I'd appreciate it. Feel free to comment guys!

Thanks,
Andrew

The amuse looks a 1000 dollars better but that more in the eye of the beholder. If you want something stupid loud like that get a J's 70rr. Its price is right between the two. It sounds amazing...until you go deaf. If you dont like the look of the J's then I would be a baller and get the Amuse.

the only thing about the amuse is the wait.. as for the j's 70rr i heard it had fitment issues on the 06+ s2k's. i have a 07. can anyone confirm about the fitment? and what about between the two exhausts i mentioned?

I dont know where you asked for an R1000, but current wait times on R1000 amuse from us is only about 6-8 weeks from time of order. The 70RR will NOT fit an 2006+ cars properly.

Please contact us if interested in any amuse product. We also have the Exhaust header in stock BTW

The quality of the amuse exhaust of the T1R is not comparable IMO.

I've had both the T1r 70rt and J's 70rr...now I want the Amuse r1000. Its my dream exhaust. Performane wise they're all the same. the one complaint about the 70rt is that it was a 2 piece headerback design which was held by 3 springs and the springs are known to fall off.

If you don't mind CEL's, then get a header back. Seems that 07+ are not diggin the CEL fixes, I'm not sure if it's 07 or 08 but double check

but say i get a headerback exhaust such as the amuse r1000 or t1r 70rt, match it up with a toda header, and get the toda reflash. the CEL should be off and everything will be running fine right? this is the route im looking into taking at this point. maybe one day ill boost but not anytime soon.

Built quality? Questionable...

My friend owns the amuse r1000 and 3 of his exhaust hangers broke. I own the 70RT. We both track as well. His is a little bit deeper in sound (i'm guessing because the exit is a little bit larger?) and the loudness is comparible and not by much. The amuse DOES look better and is about 0.5lbs (?) lighter, and sits lower. Gains are comparible.

Basically it comes down to you, looks? brand name?

Sidenote: Double check if you can even get a 70RT. They only make a few every year and there might be a waiting list for them. I don't even know if they have any year this because the price of Ti went up...

Hope this helps!

yeah this deff helps. did you have any problems with the 70rt springs breaking? so what if it came down to getting a brand new t1r 70rt or used amuse r1000 for the same price bc that might be the situation at this point. right now im leaning at the t1r 70rt bc it is new and i have a receipt to show for.
