Default AEM No-Weld O2 Sensor Bungs Any Good ?

I'm working on getting a wideband sensor connected on my car, I came across AEM's no-weld sensor bungs which clamp onto the pipe, anyone have any experience or opinions on this form of connection ?. Since I don't weld, it seems like an easy way to connect the sensor and the cost would be lower then sending out my parts for welding. Thanks for any replies.

i had used the aem product on my old j's racing ti since it is known for o2 bung to crack at the welds, high quality piece for sure but i did had minor exhaust leak i used to use silicone because the supplied gasket was so so. to be honest i would rather get it weld for a cleaner look its kinda bulky

where would you put this in the exhaust? you could also get a TP and have the bung welded to the TP, any exhaust shop can weld it.

Thanks for the reply, given that you had a leak with it makes me want to consider having a bung welded. A leak near a wideband sensor can cause errors in the reading. I may just skip it as I was concerned about the gasket integrity.

I'm going to put it in at the front of my HFC, I think I will end up welding the bung in place as you suggest, given that the one reply mentioned the potential for leakage. I may just skip the no weld method.

yeah man that's the way to go. you probably already no this but any leakage will throw off the sensors readings
