Went on a 7 hour road trip down to buffalo NY, got my drive train complete ULTRA clean, came from a car from Virginia no rust in her.

All wrapped up nice and tight for the long journey home !!!
first time seeing her off the crate in my garage at home looks promising

So after 4 times in and out it finally fits. The trans mount is done and bolts in with ease. With all the practice I can take her in and out in like 5 minutes haha
Shes in and fits perfect. Clearance on everything is great, steering shaft clearance is SO close as the kit does say it will be.
for now the motor is back on the ground. Need to finish welding the mounts in solid now (were just tacked in for test fit), once thats done I can put it back in and run the fuel lines and test fit the rad, after that it all comes back out, for final clean up and strip, then its time for paint, and final reassembly with wiring.
thanks

more updates already !!! Im just given er here !! haha
tig welded up the motor mounts
she fits in now and stays in under her own weight I can lift the hoist up and look under for the first time without crawling on the ground !
and a bonus the hood closes.
I've started to mess with the locations of various items, fuse box, eps module, new ls1 PCM etc.
more to come
