3" or 4" cai

<div style="text-align:left;">There was a bump in power for about 800 rpm in the midrange with the stepped intake. This is probably better suited for cars which you can tune or with supporting mods. If anyone’s interested in my kit...pics of dyno coming just haven’t had time</div>

Yeah a bit hard to depict those lines. Is it the 3.5 to 4" that basically follows the stock yield but with the added bump at 5k rpm? That would seem to be the best overall power curve. With some vtec and afr tuning, yields should be further realized. Still the stock TB?

Agree was disappointed with the software - they couldn’t send the files which was a bit strange, but was only $100 for the hour or so.
Throttle led body is stock - everything is completely stock. Yeah the stepped was the best for the mid, but lost a bit after VTEC. Would be nice if others would post dyno comparisons also rather than the “I could tell”. Kind of like the top off of the box. Yes there’s the potential for heat soak in traffic, but with the car moving and some ducting it’s the same power and better sound

Alot of innovation in this thread. I think the very best possible placement/design is placing a big airfilter with velocity stack down in the bottom right side of the front bumper. This design quickly shoots the pipe out of the engine bay and keeps it out from absorbing all that radiator heat via fans. Keeps pipe somewhat straight/least heat soak/and places the filter in the coldest part of the car.
