Have you seen the November issue of Grassroots Motorsports? They did flow bench testing of various intake tubing configurations on their Miata engine conversion for an MGB. They noted that bends really reduced air flow. They had not yet done any dyno testing to see whether the restrictions of the bends had any impact on performance. That looks to be a future article.
It would be interesting to see how before and after dyno testing works out for you.

I have not seen it. I looked for it last night but no success. I found the miata, but not article pertaining to the piping. I will keep my eye out for it though. I know theres a bunch of bends in my set up, and i was somewhat hesitant to fabricate the pipes the way they are. I decided to just take a chance relying on the fact that its big piping and should flow a good amount of air. Hope i am right lol.

How are you guys incorporating the hose fittings on the intake tube?
I'd like to be able to keep the front crank case vent going into the intake and the air pump also, but I don't have access to a welder.

I prefer to not have those things incorporated, but if you must, you can drill a hole in the tube and insert a rubber grommet. You just need a barb style fitting on the hose end and its a push in fit.
