So has anyone found a testpipe and fix that doesn't trip a CEL on an '06+ s2k? I'm thinking about buying a TP to be used with a stock header and exhaust (so I guess 63mm is the best?), but don't want to deal w/ the headache of a CEL tripping. I might consider getting a flashpro in the future, but don't want to bother with it now.

Have these prevented CEL's for folks? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Test-Pipe-F...eQ5fCarQ5fParts

Based on gernby's graph, it looks like the non-resonated TP's are the way to go.
Just go to any autoparts store and ask for an 18mm spark plug anti fouler...

Has that worked for everyone though? I thought I recall people using 2 anti-foulers and it's still throwing a CEL. If your CEL trips every 300 miles, that isn't very reassuring. Are you sure the wool will do the trick?

I haven't installed the anti fouler myself yet. I'm gonna install the wool first and see if it works. If there's no progress then I'll install the anti fouler as well. Going one step at a time...

My '08 seemed pretty tolerant of the test pipe. I never had a CEL until I removed the T1R anti-fouler looking thing.

From your post earlier in the thread, I'm guessing you're just running a plain old straight pipe gernby? What kind of anti-fouler did you use? Just a plain old anti-fouler? TIA.

I do run a plain test pipe now, but with no CEL fix at all. I just disabled the CEL using my FlashPro.

Im trying to get ahold of Asura to order a 75mm test pipe. Nobody answers the phone. Been like this for a week now. Anyone else know of a company that makes a 75mm test pipe with CEL fix welded on???

Make your own, go to vibrant performance and buy the 2 flanges and 2 feet of 3" tubing from McMaster Carr or a local tubing vendor. You should get tubing with a 16 gauge or .065" wall thickness. Or you can just get one from private label MFG.

Update: No CEL since I installed the wool beginning of May. Very good news for the super sensitive '06+ ECU's. No need for the 18mm spark plug anti fouler, Berks' method works.

Not all 06+ s2k's throw off CEL with testpipe but I say at least 95% of them do. So keep us updated and let us know if you throw off CEL or not. I did everything in the books to include steel wool, 4 spark plug anti-foulers and CEL fix on the testpipe. Nothing worked. Now that I have flashpro... I'll be deleting the o2 sensor.
