US AP1 pad part no is 45022-S2A-000
UK pad part no is 45022-S2A-E50
US AP2 pad part no is 45022-S2A-E50
As above we only get the AP2's in the UK. I can get hold of some US AP1's though if you guys think they are better?

The difference between US spec ap1 and ap2 brake pads are the front pads have a bit of a more aggressive compound. The rears are the same. Of course, with a more aggressive compound they dust 3 times as much. Personally on the street I am running ap1 pads on my '07 ap2. Dust much less but provide enough braking needed for the street. Aggressive driving is a different story(auto x, track days), I have some Carbotechs for that.

I tried AP1 pads on my '06 and while they were ok in daily driving, they completely died on a mountain run and almost made fall off the cliff.
OEM pads just don't cut it IMO.
I have since gone back to AXXIS ultimates all around for daily/canyon and Carbotechs for track only.
AXXIS dust a lot but I'll just have to deal with it.
