are you talking about putting a yellow bulb inside your projector and running it as a drl? the projector is a D2S bulb size. you have to buy a 3000k temp d2s bulb for that.

if you just wanna run a yellow halogen bulb in your high beam area and run that as a drl that would be more appropriate so you can retain your regular hid.

i think hes talking about just changing the DRL light bulb to yellow...and having that DRL stay on while his projectors are on....

well if his car is a 2003, he does not have drl's. the only way to get a drl into the ap1's is to purchase a relay made to power the high beam at half power. if thats all he wants to do a cheap yellow halogen bulb will work in the high beams. and you can wire that up so when you turn on your low beams your drls will still be lit.

If his location avatar is indicative of where he's posting from then he's from Canada. They had DRLs mandated many years before they started becoming common in the US.

youll need to purchase a drl relay. then youll just wire the 12v to the low beam so the relay will get power when the low beams are triggered. its not much work at all
