The hardtop looks nice, I think it would look even better with the windshield frame covered in black, have you considered doing that too ?.

I like the flat look it gives (even though this new stuff is apparently glossier than di-noc, it still has a nice semi-flat look).

How difficult was it to apply? Did you have to heat it, etc?

pretty sure that's a 2x2 weave. 1x1 shouldn't look like it has a pattern

It can be done in one sheet of material but definitely not a walk in the park!

Looks good but I would definitely black the windshield frame out. I think the car-colored frames look really cheap and tacky personally. And now that you've got the dark top this is accentuated.

This is the first time someone told us that body colored windshield trim looks "cheap" hahaha but you have a right to your opinion.

We have no plans to black it out since this was just an experiment. We normally use our GPW hardtop but just wanted to try it out

here's some better views with the CF wrapped top:

vs. the GPW top:

I think it looks ok when the top matches it, but even then I'd personally prefer a black top/black frame. I think the reason I find it to look "cheap" is because older Miatas for example had a car-colored frame. It just doesn't come off as modern to me. That car looks better than mine either way you slice it...I wish I had a white S2000.

^thanks!

Wrapping it is easy and exactly what Honda does so if we want to wrap it that is easy

If we wrap the top we may do the side mirrors too since I've been toying with that idea, or maybe just buy a set of Berlina side mirrors, anyone have a mint set they want to sell?
