What I've done with many people's cars that have come to my tint shop is (depending on local laws) you've got too go 30% on the front two windows. This really blows for 2 door owners, but to get around this I usually put limo on their back glass, if they have it of course. Using a darker tint % on the back glass will make the front windows appear darker, but when you hit them with a light meter they'll still read 30%.
Also I recommend getting a metallic or ceramic film. They're all lifetime warranty and wont peel, bubble or fade.

Here are mine limo tint all around. As for backing ones car one just has to simply roll down the windows. I understand you are worried about Law Enforcement; but many officers will not cite you they have better things to do.
