Will a VAFC give me better mpg?

Will a VAFC give me better mpg?
As the title suggests, will a VAFC be able to squeeze out a couple more miles per gallon outta my car, assuming I got it professionally tuned?
I've always wanted an excuse to have one of those lil things and this could be it with the way gas prices are going.
Oh, and I'll say it now so nobody has to. "You should have bought a civic if you wanted to get 35mpg."
thanks homies

Uhh, I'm no professional but I think that getting a tune on your Air/Fuel Ratio will help your MPG because most cars run rich from the factory. But don't quote me on this.

Yes, you can get better MPG. I picked up 3 MPG city and 2 MPG HWY when I had a VAFC.
It is easy to take care of the ecu learning over the tune. Just before the tune, reset the ecu (instructions in Under the Hood FAQ). Then about once a week or every 3hrs of engine run time, reset the ecu again. That will always keep the ecu at the base map and prevent it from compensating by learning.
