Will a 06-08 driver airbag on MY05?
I was wondering if anyone had tried to swap in the center airbag from a MY06-up on a MY04-05? are they compatible?..thanks

The 06 and up airbag is different design compare to earlier models. It has dual stage module system, which allow it to explode from minor impacts to high impacts. The 01-05 only has single module for high impacts.
The plug is slightly different and may not be plug-n-play. I am not sure if you modify the plug may foul the airbag sensor.
