If you go with the 265/40-17 out back you have to run taller tires up front to match the rear. The 235/45-17 fit my '06 and don't rub at all and they are the same height as the 265/40-17 tires(25.3").

If one were to go with 265/40 and 235/45 on ap2V1 wheels with stock suspension, would it rub at all?

My fronts(235/45-17) don't but I think the rear can rub with the wrong alignment, but maybe someone with more info will chime in here. The post that showed the 265/40-17 out back had his car lowered 2" I think, so if your on stock springs that should give you more room.

When I bought my first S the previous owner put 275/40/17 in the rear on a 2004. They would rub on hard corners haha.
