White H1 bulbs

White H1 bulbs
I don't like how the daytime running lights are yellow~orange on my CR
since they are on all the time they could at least be white light
I was going to try these Luminics Titanium White bulbs out
http://www.luminicsusa.com/detail.asp?p_Nu...LT-H01F&Type=H1
but wanted to see if anyone else tried them out yet first
since the stock daytime running lights are basically the high beams on half the power
I was wondering how these bulbs would perform?
thanks

I think the problem is that any incandescent halogen bulb run at half capacity
will always have a crappy yellowish output of light
and when you do run them at full capacity they will
roast your harness to get the white light
I think I will try these H1 led 9 SMD bulbs
http://store.ijdmtoy.com/9-SMD-LED-Bulbs-H...og_h1_sku50.htm
it says "This LED bulb is direct replacement for the stock 55W H1 halogen bulb for fog light or daytime running light."
you can get them for under 5 bucks on ebay
just type in "H1 led 9 SMD" to find them
hopefully they work out

yeah you are right about losing the high beam functions
also I looked at the housings and it looks like it will not fit the 9 SMD bulbs
they are too box shaped
I think I will need these flat ones
you can find these on ebay also just type in
"H1 led 12 SMD"
less than $10 bucks

You're correct about the square LEDs not fitting the slot. I ordered a pair a while back and it didn't fit through the hole. It's now in the FS section. I have 5500k halogens right now so DRLs run a lighter yellow than the OEMs. I made a thread comparing OEM lo and hi-beams for OEM, 5500k, and 7000k a few years back if anyone wants to dig through the search function. Take pics and let us know how the flat LEDs work out.

well I got my led bulbs in the mail
but they don't seem to work in the S2000's high beam housing
I took them off and tested them with another battery
and jumper cables and they light up just fine
they fit alright inside the housing but they don't light up for some reason?
