4.77's you shift more, but it's an 18% gear drop.
your top speed is 128 mph with 4.77's, but you get there a hell of a lot faster.


all 1/4's are dependent on your launch and shifts, 4.77's are increased acceleration over 4.56's. so if you are decent with launches and shifts, 4.77's are quicker for the 1/4 mile.

Can someone speak to the whine on the gears? Difference between 4.44, 4.56, and 4.77? I've heard that it's all dependent on a good install. True?

buddy of mine has 4.77's, i heard no whine at all throughout the rpm band.]]his were professionally installed by the local honda dealer as far as i know. so i'm assuming a good install would mean no whining.
