Wheel Spacer H&R
#13
Today I made a metrologic study to the back spacers..
I used a CMM, it is coordinate measure machine wich has 2 microns accurancy.
Made a program and all measures were made on cnc mode .
CMM - Mitutoyo Apex C:
Back spacer:
The study was based on 3 items
- Concentricity:
Between exterior circle, interior circle and a circle that passes in the center os the 5 holes where lugs will screw.
RESULT: 0,05 - 0,06mm
- Diameter:
Diameter of the 5 holes - >74.050mm
- Planicity
Planicity of the surface that touch the disk hub. +/- 0.140mm
I am not sure is these results proves that are the cause of vibration.. But These values are a bit big for normal automotive tolerances on these subjects..
Will send to my spaccers supplier and try to have a conclusion..
That all to the help..
