Default whats broken in the rear end?

ok, i take the car out for a little boost fun.I do 2 runs and drive back 5 miles to my house.as i make a sharp turn right at my street i hear a clunking noise coming from the right rear tire, almost sounds like a flat. i check it out and no flat tire. i drive a few feet front and back and the clunking is louder. i call the last owner and he says to check to see if the tire lugs on loose.the rear wheels both have only 1/8th clearance from the brake calipers. they have those longer lugs on the wheels than stock. the wheel that that seems to be making noise has 0 clearance from the caliper, and the one that dosnt still has about a 1/8 inch. i took the wheel off and tightened it,no luck it still is rubbing. what do you think happened?did something break or loosten the wheel to now rub? it a a kaaz rear .

Kaaz 1.5 way rear diffs will pop when you make a turn off the accelerator. I had on in my turbo miata that was installed correctly and it would pop whenever I would be turning and not giving it any gas.

about those aftermarket diffs. are they worth it? what are the pros and cons? I hear they need to be rebuilt time to time, is this true? a friend of mine wants to swap his 1.5 LSD for my Stock rear. he doesn't like the chunking noise as well.

If the wheel is touching the caliper, there will be obvious marks on the inside of the rim. If you pull the wheel to check, also see if your brake pads are wearing evenly. Remember, we have floating calipers, so uneven brake wear could move the caliper a little.

I never had any problem with mine. i ended up selling the diff because I got tired of hearing it during daily driving.
