Default What exhaust is this?

I'm looking at a local '00 BB which for sure has a K&N "cold-air" aftermarket exhaust and some fugly wheels (looking for a set of stock if anyone is looking to sell).

I know it's a long shot but I was wondering if anyone can tell me the exhaust based off of a pic.

link of site: http://www.automaxnashville.com/detail-200...ed-6385304.html

I really don't want an exhaust any louder than stock and would probably go back to stock if I purchase this thing.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hard to tell but looks like HKS from the pics. Best sounding exhaust for the s2k hands down.

I'd make sure to ditch that intake asap as well!

HKS Hi-Power. Its the same exhaust I have. Its a 60mm exhaust, and is known to be the best sounding exhaust for the s2000. It sounds very nice, and has absolutely no drone at all. If you bought it, I would definetly keep the HKS on it.

Damn! Fast response, thanks!

Yes, the K&N will go away also. I don't like the fact that there were mods on it at all but I know that's a lot to ask of a 10 y.o S2K.

The price (seems about 2k too low) bothers me but if it all checks out tomorrow, it'll be mine

Checked the vin and all for accidents etc? How many miles are on it and what is the price?

Edit: Nevermind saw it on the listing.

Says no accidents etc. Seems like a good price for that mileage and all. Has upgraded top which is a plus. Looks like some shady mods kind of. With wheels and that intake but who knows.

Yeah HKS sounds nice. But what's up with that rims? Is that new style these days?

I honestly wouldnt buy it for $11k if I had to change the whole intake and wheels just to get it to my liking. Also you would need some new taillights because those ones look faded as hell. Just my opinion though.

I like the price for the mileage (51k) and figure I'll keep the wheels until summer and put some PS2s on other wheels.

My only real requirement is Black and under 75k miles.

I was guessing that I could pick up a stock intake fairly inexpensively.

I know I should wait to find the *perfect* car but I'm impatient

What do you mean by upgraded top?

I've driven a few S2ks and it is no doubt my next car (unless an Elise or White C5 Z06 pops up for cheap... real cheap) but don't know a whole lot about the finer details and have never been into any type of import scene at all so it's a bunch of new trends, brands, etc. for me.

Thank you guys for all the help!

very tempting considering it has 51k miles... but honestly, I would wait and find what you really want! I'm sure if you search hard enough, you can find an 02+ with low miles in your price range... I'm only saying this because I got impatient, and tried to help a friend out who had a child on the way by buying his car from him... and I completly regret it! I wanted an 02-03 GPW with all red interior.. and ended up with a BB that has had a lot of issues.
