What else do I need to do RED interior swap on my GPW?

you need the red net thing on the passenger side tranny tunnel if yours is tan.

Keep the tan!

i think you got most of the major pieces, like someone mentioned, you might be missing some of smaller ones you can prob get later like the net and button looking screws/caps on the sides.

Hey guys,

the swap is done

and i got a new alarm that i can control with my iPhone and that texts my phone if there is some disturbance with my car.

and a new sound system with a Pioneer DEH-X8500BH head unit, component speakers, amp, and temporary sub, until my custom box gets done.

Looks really great. How's the fit of the new stuff? Everything looks like it fit perfectly. I'm detailed oriented so if it didn't go in and look the same way it did before I pulled it out, it would bug me. That's why I haven't done this. Did you run into any issues?

i didnt do it myself,

my cousin owns a shop so i had him do it

but the center console didnt want to go in without somehow removing/lifting the dash.

love the Red/Black interior swap! Always hated the Tan interior that offer on the 03 GPW AP1 s2000 and 04-05 GPW AP2 s2000.thank god my 07 GPW AP2 s2000 comes with Red/Black interior from the factory! looks way better than the ugly Tan interior!!!

i actually like the TAN interior, but u cant beat GPW with a RED interior so i had to do it

what i don't like is how 2006 and up don't have the helmet cut out in the seats' headrest!

I think you should use black tree clips. Good swap, I'm obviously a fan on the red interior.
