It is $5k because it is real dry carbon so it is extremely light an strong and no its not meant for the average daily driver car. Its meant for a hard core track car that needs to shave every ounce.

It's more likely you are posting a pointless thread. The best carbon fiber is autoclave prepreg carbon. ASM and Amuse sell them.

I know why its $5k ... because it says a.s.m. believe me if any other company made it it would prob cost about $3k hahaha. All jokes aside because i honestly do love a.s.m and understand their philosophy. So please i was joking. The op needs to understand though if hes really trying to shave weight theres alot more easier and waaaayyyyy less expensive ways to do it. If the op just wants it for looks ... wrap a regular bumper in dynoc hahahaha. Seriously this is a part for a true diehard racer or elite. There isnt much purpose to it besides track or bling.
