Default Want the option to go back to soft top

I am about to purchase a 2007 s2000 and it currently has a oem hardtop installed with the soft top completely gutted out. I would like to have the option of taking off my hardtop and running a soft top as well. Is it possible to have the soft top down and the hardtop on or is that the reason the previous owner had to completely gut the soft top?

What will I need to put a soft top back on the car?
- soft top cloth with glass
- soft top frame and motors
- any hardware to make the soft top and hardtop work? (I heard there shouldn't be any extra hardware that I need to buy because I have a 2006+???)

Thanks in advance

The car indeed does have a OEM hardtop. As for hardware, I would assume it has oem hardware as well. Are soft top frames the same from the ap1 and ap2's?

ap1 and ap2 soft top frames are not the same. As for the motors, it should be the same.
