Default Vis mugen hardtop bolt holes stripped

So on each side one of the bolt-holes of my vis mugen hardtop are stripped. Any suggestions?

don't overtorque for starters.

maybe a wee bit thicker bolt with coarser threads could grab in there?

tap the hole for a larger bolt/thread.

Unfortunately for me I got this as a hand me down. The top is in great shape except for the stripped spinner.

What bolt size do you recommend. If not I'm taking it to down to a upholstery shop.

What do you do when its not the bolt that is stripped and spinning but the rivet is spinning and will not let you tighten the bolt?

Has anyone actually tapped the holes on their hardtop? I'm having the same problem with the driver side bolt hole on my cwest hardtop. Anyone know of a shop in socal that could fix it?
