i am debating whether to get the PRM intake or the PWJDM intake

im 100% positive that the PWJDM intake outperforms the PRM intake in performance for sure.

im just curious to listen to how loud this PWJDM intake really is. So far in all the review they have said that this intake screams and whistles(which is what will make or break my decision because im all about sound)

ive listened to the prm intake on youtube. and im quite satisfied with the sound it makes.

my pwjdm review in my sig has a video of the sound.

my hks exhaust sounds much louder than the intake...the intake sound is minor, but sounds good. i love it.

 

yeah ive seen that video on youtube but it just doesnt answer my questions. im looking for a video with no exhaust and just pure intake. =/

The JDM intake isn't going to be loud like the PRM since the JDM is pretty well sealed.

 

^ Thats incorrect it is one of the louder intakes that I have heard installed on an S. Louder than my FIPK, Mugen Style, OEM w/lid removed.

Their are some small gaps where the snorkal meets the chamber (air can not excape though) and that probably adds to the volume.

 

trust me i used to have the prm its not even close to the JDMPWD INTAKE.

and i have used it both on my mugen exhaust. jdmpwd is much louder.

 

damn I cant wait to drive mine!
