VEI Systems Gauges

VEI Systems Gauges
I got my VEI Systems Gauges recently and installed it on my car
I needed an oil press and temp gauge did not like all the ones on the market so I called VEI and they helped me out
They are based in Florida and all their stuff is quality Made in USA http://www.veisystems.com/company.html
testing it for the first time
with a blue piece of acrylic plastic they sent me
Mounted on top of my UltraGauge
There is a lot of glare in the pic and looks way better in person
test fitting the mounting location
how it looks when you are driving
Nothing works yet as I have to hook up the sending units but I thought it looks really cool and just wanted to share

There are a few companies that have dual gauge
This is one
http://www.vgauges.com/catalog/produ...products_id=82
http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...perature-gauge
That's another. No real reviews yet but I need one too

did you hook up a parking light dimmer?
also i like the vei gauge which is the one you have because it has
1. programable peak alarm
2. brightness.
3. sensors are cheap
wish it had
1. peak recall feature.
i do like this one
http://www.elise-shop.com/high-preci...-p-502176.html
1. nice and bright and easy to read.
2. multiple gauges in one.
3. price is good with all the sensors.
wish
1. it was local to the USA
2. had a programable alarm.
3. peak recall value.
spa gauges are too expensive
the innovate gauge is nice but i think the programable led feature might be hard to get use to
all these gauges have almost no reviews on them

I eventually hooked up the dimmer wire. At first I didn't but it was way too bright at night, now its perfect
I have an oil pressure sensor that will go to the oil dummy light switch via stainless hose and a oil temp sensor to the drain plug.
I'm just waiting on the hose and a coupler to be shipped
here is the wiring diagram haha!

The push switch is used to program the circuit board gauge because it is so minimal and does not have a button built in. The yellow wire it is connected to can be touched to ground and acts the same way so the switch is optional.
I have an oil press sensor mounted one on of the black heat shield screws near the oil filter. It is not that hot in that area as you can safely touch it after driving. I mounted the oil temp sensor on the oil drain plug
