Default VAFC

I am getting paid this week and am considering a VAFC and tune.
I know a local shop with a dyno who has had experience with S2000s and VAFCs (they did all the work on my friends AP1 with a 75 shot)

Would it be worth the money to get a VAFC and tune with only a gutted air box and test pipe?

The main reason I want to get the VAFC is to change the VTEC crossover to around 4800rpm (since there is no Hondata for my 05)

It just seems to me like the car would be more fun to drive with a lower VTEC engagement.

Any guidance?

i would let them choose your vtec crossover, as they have a technique for finding the optimal point for your engine.

I think you need to do a "search" before you buy it.

As long as he lets the tuners set it, than he'll be fine.
