Default UK owner - Buddy Club Spec 3 Single

Well i just wanted to say a big thanks and a reccomendation for LSD Motorsports, a trader on s2ki based in USA. Ordered my exhaust from them last thursday after finding the UK importer had no stock even though they told me they had some coming in

The exhaust arrived today, making it 4 business days, and the total cost including duty, VAT and shipping was £100 less than the UK price. If your after some parts give them a pm!

Anyway onto the exhaust... i was looking for a controversial single exit, i like loud but dislike drone and it seems a single is the best option for this, and lighter to boot. So here it is my Buddy Club Spec 3 single...

Came very well packaged and with all the japanese instructions and stickers one could wish for!

So i took it straight down to TGM, where it was fitted over lunchtime!

So impressions, its loud but not overbearingly so, great sound on throttle. Seems to get louder when it warms up, but im sure it will change a bit as it beds in. Am now left wondering what to do in terms of a decat, will have a think on it. Will try and get some outside pics and sound clips up asap, but my phone takes amazingly awful clips!

Can anyone advise me on benefits/ cons for fitting a 63mm Decat to this, it has a CEL fix built in so i am guessing i wont get a CEL on a 03 model?

Is there any performace to be had, will the noise leve or tone change much?

Also i'm looking to do a header aswell, are there any particularly fgood ones? I want a J's racing one ideally but in england they come out at over 2000 USD!!!!

Thanks

Does this drone at all? I see this one has a resonator in the mid-pipe, so hopefully there would be little to no drone at all...

I used the Berk 60mm test pipe with my stock exhaust and had no problems. Definitely more power and more/better sound from the oem.

Very little noise at idle/ constant revs, but loud on WOT, i like the noise a lot. Got a 63mm decat on the way, so will see what difference that makes.
