Here's one painted. I did want to leave it carbon but the clear kept failing so I painted it. And I'm glad I did. It looks cleaner to me.

..no matter how much ive waxed since i got it to protect it wont stop spotting and fading on some corners =\
Its probably the fact that you are waxing it that is speeding up the fading. you can try a product called kizz clear and it should help (though you need to use it often since it looses its luster somewhat fast . Soap and water is all you should use on CF, the gel coat is not the same as a clear coat that is on your paint. most waxes and polishes are made for Clear coats and paint not gel coats on CF. If you have a shop clear coat it then waxing it may be good for it.

To the OP..... I would leave it until you decide you would rather paint it to match. If its a replica it will probably be easier to sell if you leave it unpainted (assuming at some point you want to sell it). If you paint it it will be harder to sell since the buyer would need to repaint and lots of people still buy CF for the look.

Don't paint carbon fiber! Show it in all it's glory!!! Even BMW leaves their carbon fiber roofs unpained in their new M3.
that's real carbon fiber vs carbon fiber overlay

leave it for a while and see what you like... Once you paint it, you can't really go back so, I'd just leave it exposed till you make up your mind.
not really, you can stripe the bc/cc off the resin, not the funnest thing to do but it will come off.
