yeah, im really thinking about doing this along with the hondata gasket, im between these two or getting my oem ebay lip painted lol. it makes sense that the spacer would add power. mostly a few more lb ft of tq then anything. more air in the plenum would equal more air avaible with more air being sucked up through the intake. it makes sense too so i think im going to go ahead and do it.

tumbling after the air fuel mix might provide a bit of a benefit, that's how the low rpm cam lobes (primary and secondary) of the VTEC system work. Tumbling before the air fuel mix does nothing on a fuel injected setup, it could be helpful on a carb setp.

The Hondata IMG is a great mod, but definitely follow Marcucci's install guide. If you just swap the gasket, and don't modify the support bracket, etc. you are likely to have a failure.

I don't see ANY reason to install the TB gasket if you have the Hondata IMG.

Gernby, its not just a gasket. Its an actual 3/4 spacer. Together that and the img would work wonders together. The p2r spacer with gaskets make the plenum larger with more air, also with the IMG you'll have more air being cooler. On k series motors they make 5 whp bolt on and good tq gains.

the gaskets work great on a dyno with the hood open and a fan blowing towards the vehicle. The parts stay nice and cold. But when driving in summer heat conditions in city driving for 20 minutes or more you would never tell the difference in temperatures between the modified part and an unmodified part. They eventually reach the same temperature due to heat conditions under the hood even though there isn't heat transfer from the engine.

I tried installing the manifold gasket. I literally could not get the last bolt nearest to the firewall on the bottom of the manifold to come off. It was ****** impossible. Also the wire harness plugin for that temp sensor in the back of the intake manifold WOULD NOT come out. No room for me to press + pull.

I ended up putting everything back on. Oh, 20 cent crush washers work just fine for the fuel rail connection...
