throttle body coolant bypass....and CO2?

I picked it up on sale from Blueridge. They are right down the street from me. Mine had a mark where the hole should be and on the instructions said you could drill that out if you wanted the coolant to pass through. Basically the img blocks off coolant from the throttle body and the iac if you dont drill the hole out so bypassing the lines isnt required anymore unless your just cleaning up clutter in the bay.

Does the hondata IM gasket block off flow through the manifold or just insulate? Just wondering if you can cap off the large outlet from the head that goes through the intake manifold.

I had a hondata IM gasket on my old b series motor w/ the blocked off outlet to the IM, and it worked great. I'll take a peak at my helms manual to look at the coolant hoses, but I'd guess it'd be very similar to a B-series, and blocking off the intake manifold port shouldn't hurt anything.
