yes. I've had it bypassed for a few years now. it's easier to remove the intake to make room. stick a towel underneath the throttle body, some coolant will spill out

I wonder if I could make a gasket of some sort or spray CO2 through it to keep it cool. Or run cool water through it.

Last night I did some tests. First test was with original coolant lines. The iat were 104-108. The first test was done the previous night. With the coolant bypass the iat were 98 max. I let the car sit awhile to allow heat conduction. This took about 15-20 min to reach 104 degrees. Well I wanted to figure a way to rapidly cool it down. So I took off the plugs off and took a water hose set on jet and I squitted into one of the inlets. I sprayed less than a gallon. I drove around and the iat were at 96 degrees. I also have an aem v2 cai that I heat wrapped with a header wrap. It is cloth like. I sprayed the wrap til it became soaked. When I drove around the iat started to lower. It was an immediate drop like when I spray water in the inlet of the throttle body. But the the iat dropped steadily to 86 degrees

I did this to figure a way to cool the air down when I drag race or autox. I drove a minimum on 10 on each test and I recorded each iat test on a flashpro.
