For those with 4 pt harness belts.
Just curious how did you secure you harness seat belts on the sides? I figure one goes into the original hole near the door but the other? Did you drill a hole?

1. I hope you're planning on installing the 6pt straps as well
2. You'll have to drill a hole into the transmission tunnel for the inboard mount point. If you're using a Takata harness, you'll want to use the backing plate they sell (or something very similar).
3. I also hope you're not installing a harness for use with the stock seat. The stock seat is not designed to be used with a harness (does not keep the harness in the proper position on your body, nor is the seat designed to withstand the forces the harness will exert on it during an accident) and will increase the risk of injury during an accident.
As a side note, you'll want to leave the stock seat belt in or you'll pop the SRS dummy light. I have my stock seatbelt bolted in using the harness eyebolt (Takata harness).

Do yourself a favor, pick up the 6pt straps.
1) They will keep you from submarining (sliding out from underneath the waist belt).
2) They hold the waist strap across your hips instead of allowing it to ride up onto your abdomen (which will cause internal injuries during an accident)
I hope you're installing a racing seat designed to work with a harness...?

Unfortunately, in the S2000, you'll have to use a 6pt harness. The 5th pt in a 5pt harness goes forward and due to the crossmember in front of the seat in the S2000, there's nowhere to properly mount the 5th point. The 5th and 6th points of a 6pt harness system are mounted behind/under the seat. A 7pt harness combines the 5pt forward strap and 6pt rearward straps.
Go to Home Depot/Lowe's and pick up some large diameter washers. The idea is to make sure that the forces in an accident are being properly distributing across the sheetmetal, not through it. Or you could just purchase the Takata backing plates and use them with the Corbeau bolts (Takata backing plates use the same thread/bolt diameter as the stock seatbelt)

I don't have any pics of it, I'll see if I can get a clear shot tomorrow with my phone cam. Basically, it's as directly across from the stock seatbelt hole as I could manage (perhaps a bit further back)
