Tanabe Concept G w/ test pipe
#21
Hmm maybe I'm second-guessing it now...but it sounds so good and refined in the vids!
UK Mod, Mugen, and Gernzhaust might be the only ways but the mod still leaves you with a super heavy piece on your car, Mugen is expensive and not really louder than stock (is it?), and the Gernzhaust is the most expensive of all which I'd really like but can't even come close to justifying.

It's a nice exhaust. It definitely will drone as will basically every exhaust out there. Those who say it won't are either dead or used to even worse exhausts.
I'm using Blitz Realize-TT exhaust with TP. It has drone between 3-4 RPM, and It's killing me.
So I thought Tanabe Concept-G will be the best way to resolve that.

I just put in the test pipe the other day and took a nice drive to OC for the H20 event- drone is noticeably reduced and overall exhaust sound is still very good. the 3-4K range isn't nearly as annoying as it used to be, just exhaust sound sound throughout the RPM range. there is still a little drone if you are going uphill and in a higher gear, but I think that is a problem with having a 4 cylinder car which will never go away.
the exhaust might be a little louder or it might just be that I can hear the actual output better now that there is no drone sound overtaking my ears lol. i highly recommend getting it (keep your stock at on hand to swap back in for emissions though).
