I recently bought this exhaust used and I love the sound of it, my only beef with this particular system is that at lower RPM's (3-4.5k) it is VERY loud. Like ears ringing loud.

Is there anything I could do to quiet it down a bit? Wrap the exhaust maybe? If it makes a difference I currently have my OEM cat on and would rather not switch back to a test pipe.

they only way to really get rid of that is a test pipe...that would take the loud noise away in the cabin for the most part.

test pipe or live with the boom. a high flow cat didn't help me much with that exhaust.

First good to hear good things about t1r em since Mine is on a ups truck.

To answer your question. I have the invidia right now and it was crazy loud/drone until I installed the test pipe.

wow, i never would have thought a test pipe would fix this. i have a cheap testpipe from ebay (2.5 inch). i guess it will decrease performance a little bit but whatever!

not sure how much louder the single is over the dual, but I have the dual and my test pipe quieted it down some. Also I'm supercharged and I hear that quiets down exhausts so u can try that, more power+less noise= win win

Just got my em installed today...
gosh this thing is quiet.... compare to Invidia.
