T1R Header/70mm Sparrow dyno results
Got my T1R header and 70mm Sparrow (dual) installed today and hit the dyno. Gains were about 9hp and 0tq over stock for a total of 211hp/140tq. I made about 7 runs total and it was picking up power each time I made a pass. Next will be the Hondata reflash to take full advantage of the exhaust mods. Dyno runs are below.
The first one is stock from 10/22/07. I don't have the plot of my lowest stock hp/tq curve but it was 202/140. These two displayed was playing around w/ intakes and velocity stacks. The second are the lowest and highest run from yesterday 2/18/07 after header/exhaust install and a coolant bypass. The first run on the second plot was when the motor was not up to temp yet. The last run on there was when the motor was at full operating temps. All runs posted are SAE corrected. Uncorrected numbers were 221hp/147tq.
Questions welcome. Enjoy.

Most sparrows come with the test pipe so im assuming his did too, could be wrong though. Strong gains though, get that reflash and youll have a nice ride on your hands. Finish it off with some gears

Pretty nice gain, I was consider going with this or the Invidia V3, did you lose any TQ down low? Also do you know if the T1R 70 Sparrow is louder than the V3 from Invida or are they about the same.

The gains are throughout the powerband. I did use the test pipe instead of the cat. I'm wondering how some guys are claiming 220+ whp with just exhaust and what not. They must be quoting uncorrected numbers instead of corrected. If that's the case I'm 221.

You gotta remember every dyno and car is going to read differently. Some people have factory freaks that they claim to produce more than 220whp stock. Dont worry about your numbers so much, just look at your gains, and go back to the same dyno if you do any more modifications so you can have an accurate reading.
