T1R 70RT Titanium VS T1R 70R Version 3.0 Exhaust
Anybody have this exhaust ??
I was gonna buy T1R 70RT ($1469) but
I found out that T1R 70R Version 3.0 Exhaust System this exhaust looks
pretty much the same and also uses 70mm pipe.. ($995)
But I cant find any video clips of that exhaust.
Guys, know how it sound like? and does it look exactly same as the 70RT??
Please let me know
Thanks in advance

it's pretty much the same exhaust, except that the 70RT is a full titanium system while the 70R is stainless with a titanium tip. The biggest differences you'll see are weight and coloring. The full titanium system will be lighter and you'll notice that more of the exhaust will turn colors.

yeah, when titanium heats up it starts changing to that blue and purple color. In the case of the full titanium system (70RT), the whole exhaust will turn colors. Whereas the stainless system (70R) only the tip will turn colors.

titanium and steel piping sounds different.
the thickness of the wall will affect the tone as well.

By the way, does the 70RT last long as stainless steel??
Lets say I put the 70RT on the car.. no matter what all the exhaust pipes
are gonna get damaged a little bit at least..
I know the fact that the stainless steel is stronger than the titanium.
But even though its weaker than stainless steel, is it(70RT) still strong enough ??
and last long?
Thanks

Im assuming that the 70RT will have higher pitch then 70R Ver3 right? and also louder??? better~ right?
if you've ever been in a church (or some place with gigantic piano with a wall full of different sized pipes).. that should get you thinking.
if you really want to get into the details.. the rotation mass in the engine bay (Flywheel / clutch), shape of the header, motormounts, temperature of the material, etc etc will all affect the sound. some changes which you won't ever notice.
