I agree you to feel the pressure from the exhaust in the cabin. No drone but definitely pressure.

Single or Dual?
Testpipe or Oem Cat?
Oem or aftermarket header?
what rpm range produces drone?
STOCK s2k with t1r 70em single. roughly 3500~4k. under 40mph it is easy to ditch with pedal position. at 75~80 (cruise speed) going up the slightest hill it is brutal. i am going to nebraska in a few months, and may have to remove the exhaust for the trip. we shall see.

oon the flip side, it is a nice quality exhaust, with great fit and finish. sounds great rowing through the gears, but the drone is brutal on the highway. for $2300, and "no drone" i would think it would have lived up to it's promises.

Thank you for being more specific, so for 2300, you have the Ti model single.

A testpipe might help with your situtation, unforntuantely with the new model ap2's it's looking to be a pain to run since it triggers CEL's a lot more frequently.

I heard that going up a hill will increase drone, but 75-80 on a flat road, is it still bad???

i cannot put in a test pipe, as it would not be legal in my situation. Evasive should put in the description that there is not drone, if you live in kansas... here in the northeast, you cannot go anywhere without a hill.

in t1r's defense, there are many an exhaust that are WAY louder. but, do not claim no drone, when in fact there is. you can claim an invidia is quieter then stock if you are going downhill, in neutral, with the engine off.

this is why it is hard to read reviews on this site, and make purchasing decisions from them.

Rodney, maybe it's the titanium that drones more than the stainless? I'm sure the different properties of the two metals and thickness differences affect the droning factor.

we tested the exhaust at regular highway cruising speed and off throttle cruising and there is little to no droning.

When you climb a hill it usually requires more throttle thus more exhaust gas flowing through the muffler... it obviously will be louder especially when throttling in higher gears. Remember guys, this is a street exhaust made to make good power, the 70mm piping usually will produce more exhaust tone than a 60mm exhaust. We believe this exhaust offers the power of a 70mm exhaust without the excessive noise and drone.

let me clarify my posts.

when daily driving, i get no drone. this is because i drive on flat roads.

the exhaust drones when i drive up hills. droning sucks.

i like this exhaust a lot and would highly recommend it...unless you drive a lot up hills...in which case i don't think any aftermarket exhaust will have no drone.
