I'm seriously considering the T1R 70R-EM dual exhaust system.
I'd like to get some feedback from owners of this exhaust.
My car will be bone-stock with the exception of this system.
I've read the dyno charts & I'm happy with the results but I'm wondering about the sound quality on cars with zero mods?
Any drone? This car is my daily driver - I want a more aggressive tone without the drone.
The cost is $1295. To me that's a lot. Do you think it's worth it? I'm also considering the Tanabe concept G for about $750-$800.

AJ Racing lists the "T1R 70R"
Is this the exact same system as the "T1R 70R-EM" ?

The 70MM EM is exclusive to evasive motorsports. The exhaust has been great so far. No drone and it sounds great at WOT.

I have heard other people can get the EM exhaust.

Im in the same boat as the OP its my DD and I want a great sound but the money is alot to hate it.

What AJ doesn't tell you is that you'll have to foot a nasty COD charge for import duties. I got burned by them on that once and will never order from them again.

solid exhaust..i'd go for a pre-tuned emu from Giles for $1,200 if it were me. I DD my car as well and, at times, the exhaust can be a bit annoying, especially with the top up. I think the tuning makes the car more spirited and gives you better throttle response and better power at partial throttle. I had an intake an the tuning and was very happy with it. I also had the intake tuning and the 70 em t1r dual and it was very good as well, but for a DD, it's kind of nice to get the upgraded power without dealing with the noise all the time.

I haven't tried it yet, but I have one waiting for some good weather.

I bought it because it makes great power and is drone-free, as advertised.

The next step up would be ASM and it's alot more.
