Suspension advice?
I decided to go with the swift spring for the AP2. Question is, I currently have ~45k on the stock shocks, never tracked or autox'ed. Just driven hard from time to time on some twisties. Do you guys think the shock got anymore life in them to support the springs, if so, how much longer? Or should I just swap them out for some aftermarket?

If I am not mistaken the swift springs are made to work in the range of the OEM shocks. Personally I would ride out the stock shocks until they blow, then get new shocks. .02

depends if youre gonna do it yourself. if youre gonna do it yourself might as well try keep the oem, but if youre gonna take it somewhere to do it, might as wel shell out the few extra bux for the shocks cuz if they do go bad...its gonna be $$ to get new shocks, reinstall em, then align em again.

Thanks for the comments. The thing is that I don't know how much longer these stock one has. For the people who run them with stock, how long has it been and how many miles you had on the stock shocks before adding the springs?
The spring will be installed by a friend's shop, but I will be watching and learning, so I can see the process and change the shocks later when I need to. If I think I can get another 10-15k from the stock shocks, I will opt to get them later and install them myself with the DIY provided here. Save some money at the moment for something else.
BTW, how long do stock shocks last anyways with normal driving, ie.. no tracking and such?

For what its worth, i have neuspeed sport springs on stock shocks. The shocks themselves have 46k total.... the springs have been on for the last 8k and i havent had any problems so far. If/when they do blow at some point i just plan to replace with coilovers.
