i have to agree with everyone here, stock parts ftw. i did some hawk hps pads, and what sucks is you have to heat them up to get a benefit, well normal driving is not going to do this, so it winds up feeling like less braking then stock. unless you autx the car, stock FTW.

i agree with the stock brakes! just flush the brake lines.. and get some nice pads. you dont really need more unless your going f/i

thanks for the advice guys. Probably gonna just paint the calipers, however what rotors should I look for and brake pads? Im looking more for easthetics as well as doing a decent job. Slotted and or cross drilled. I heard that slotted where actually worse for you if your not on the track??

I meant in my last post that slotted were bad for street use because of the gas build up and so. I was told they wear faster then just regular cross drilled.

would these be fine??

id hate to sound like a doosh, but the stock rotors have worked awesome for me on the street. and i will be going back to stock pads once i wear out the hawk hps pads i have on. unless u auto x, stock everything works great. if you autox, i think guys where still rocking stock rotors, just better pads.

i am all for performance, but i just dont think your going to improve your performance.
