Suggestions for New Brakes?
hey guys,
just wondering what is out there for brake kits: (calipers, pads, and rotors)
work best with factory AP2 wheels??
Im not looking to spend a ton of money on brembo or stop-tech or rotora, so I was hoping someone could give me some suggestions on a decent nice kit for front and rear. Im really looking for some Red calipers so any system with them would be good.
thanks all.

Sounds like painting your existing calipers red would meet all of your stated requirements.
I don't think you need a all new BBK unless you are pushing a lot of power. I think Carbotech pads, stainless steel braided brake lines, and some good brake fluid would be enough braking power. And there are some caliper paint kits out there.
Are you heavily modded?

are you actually looking for any performace enhancement out of the braking or just for looks?
j's racing bbk is red for the front and the brackets for the rear are red iirc, but you'll be dropping 6k on it.
get some high temp caliper paint and see if that fits what you're looking for before you spend a couple of grand. if you are only street driving your car than there is no need to move beyond the oem honda parts.

Yeah I bled my entire system, filled it with fresh fluid, painted my calipers with the duplicolor in black, got new oem pads and rotora rotors. It looks awesome and braking is better than when I bought the car.

I would say go with some Stoptech slotted rotors and some decent brake pads, also some brake fluid with a high temp boiling point. You dont need new brake lines. OEM are steel braided who would have known.

Think of the $$ saved.
Think of the $$ not wasted.
There is a reason 95% of the people tracking thier S2000 use OEM calipers and rototrs, CUZ THEY WORK!!
