Default sub-frame bolt question

I'm thinking of using this bolt for a hanger for my rear diffuser...

anyone think of a reason i shouldn't?

i would be making the hanger out of aluminum bar stock so it would in effect be an aluminum washer...

almost concerns me -- but I'm just not sure.

here is a pic.

any thoughts?

What's your concern? That the aluminum would get thinnner over time due to stress from the subframe and the bolt would get loose?

there should be a general spec for that size. 10mm is about 35in to 45in lbs. 12mm is around 55-75 in lbs and 14mm is 85-95. unless its threaded into aluminium. its about half.
