Default Steering quick release

I bought an NRG quick release and short hub for the S. I haven't inistalled it yet, but after taking some rough measurements I noticed that once the new wheel goes on it's going to be too close.

My question is for anyone that has used this combo before. How did it work out, and did you like the fit?

You shoudl be fine I am using a Short Splash hub and Prodrive QR and my wheel sits a little further out than OEM (they are similiar to the NRG) fitment should be about the same.

The only time it shoudl fit closer is when using only the short hub, when not using a QR a longer hub should be used.

Thanks I assembled it a while ago and it leaves 1 1/2" for my wheel. Beyond that it'll be closer.

Apee Two:
I can't figure out how to get this to mount with teh srs reel in place. Furthermore I can't remove the reel completely without cutting 2 wires that plug into the back. Did you remove yours in order to make it work?

Mine was installed by a shop.

Sorry I can't be of more help on the installation.

Found the plug under the dash, now just need to get my hands on a wiring diagram to get the cruise control working again.

If anyone knows the size of the resistor to shut off the SRS light let me know.

you have to hard wire the CC in (if you are using an OEM CC button)

also if you look in the DIY/FAQ section there is an install how to guide that may help you out.
