It's worth the money for coilovers.

Coils, cause springs with new struts are near the price of the cheaper coils. But the cheaper coilovers, like megan or buddy club have more dampening adjustments and of course height adjustments than any spring/strut combo i know of.

Unless you want to just get springs on the stock struts. But within a short time the car will handle worse due to wear on the stock struts.

I went with Espilirs and Koni Yellow sports and IMO work great. Low enough to make it noticeable with nice ride.

^^^^ I also went with Espilirs and Koni Yellow, so far I like this set-up. Tons of scraping and I love the nasty thup of my under-side when I go over speed bumps If I could do it all over again maybe I would've went with the coilovers for the slam look, I would be enjoying the sound of my lip cracking

quick question on the Koni Yellows. do these help to lower the ride height a little? I know that is the case on many other cars when you install Koni Yellows.

Yes the Koni's have an upper perch (stock height) and a lower perch that you can adjust the spring seat to to lower an additional 1/2"

im selling my brand new Tanabe GF210s but i would wait for coilovers. especially if you live where its all bumpy and stuff that way you can adjust them.

i went with springs, tanabes to be exact, and they were great. but now the rides very very hard, so im guessing the shocks are about to go. i think im going to order coilovers in the next few months. do it right the first time and get coilovers. my 2 cents.
