I realize that coilovers would be the ultimate solution but my question is that I am torn between what to get. I am not in the market for expensive coilovers as of yet, so I am looking into lowering springs. If anyone can give me info on lowering springs, what to stay away from, etc. That would be great.

I have 17's on the car, and the last thing I want is rubbing issues or any other sudden surprises that might cost me $$$. As for the coilovers, I really would rather go with that set up but I don't want to cheap out, so I'll be patient and wait and just get springs.

Now another thing is that I have a 00 S2000 with approx. 85000kms still on the stock struts, will I need to change them when I get the new lowering springs or can I get away from it for the time being. THX
From what i've heard espelir and swift are like the best springs for s2000's, but then again i dont have spring on my car so i really wouldnt know Ive talked to alot of people that have springs in their s2k's and they all tell me that you would not have an issue. Good luck man, and remember coil overs are like $1000 and above so i dont know
